Get to Know Me
I’m driven by creativity, whether I’m crafting compelling media, composing music, or designing and building dynamic indoor and outdoor spaces. Creating is not just what I do—it’s who I am. I find joy in collaborating with fellow creatives to bring unique visions to life, and there’s nothing more fulfilling than achieving something truly special together.
My creative journey is rich and varied. From writing and directing to editing and cinematography, I’ve worn many hats, each contributing to a diverse skill set. I’ve also navigated the worlds of engineering and marketing, broadening my perspective and approach.
Among my proudest achievements is leading NASA's media effort for the James Webb Space Telescope mission for more than 15 years. Webb is the most ambitious and complex space science mission ever undertaken. Prior to that, I led the media effort for NASA’s final servicing mission to the Hubble Space Telescope. Both missions were intense, challenging, and demanded flexibility and a calm demeanor. These experiences were incredibly rewarding, and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

My work extends beyond NASA. I’ve served as a cinematographer for PBS NOVA, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, CNN, and the History Channel. After Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast, I took on a temporary role as Production Manager for FEMA’s recovery efforts. Developing a high performing team that delivered crucial and timely updates 24/7 to displaced families was a profound experience. Additional leadership roles include Production Manager at Max-Q Digital Group (a Honeywell division) and Director of Washington Production for The Military Channel Inc., a start-up cable network at the time.
People are at the heart of everything I do. While science, art, and technology are fascinating, it’s the human stories behind them that truly resonate. It’s these connections that make a lasting impact. I strive to share the extraordinary with the world.
Originally from Fairport, NY, a suburb of Rochester, I now call Annapolis, Maryland home. Outside of work, I’m an avid musician, motorcyclist, and SCUBA diver. My professional journey began with a bachelor’s degree in communication from State University of New York College at Brockport. I now give back by volunteering as an advisor for the SUNY Brockport Student-Led Marketing Association, helping to guide and inspire the next generation of media professionals.
