After arriving at Seal Beach, California, the Webb Telescope inside of the protective transport container was loaded into the MN Colibri and begins the 16 day voyage to the launch site in Kourou, French Guiana.

After 16 days at sea, the MN Colibri with the Webb Telescope safely inside arrives in Kourou in French Guiana, the team unloads Webb still and moves it to Guiana Space Centre.

EP05: Fueling Webb
Fueling the Webb Telescope is an extremely dangerous operation. As most of the personnel vacate the launch site, a select few highly trained engineers fill Webb's fuel tank.

EP06: Launch!
The Webb Telescope is fitted inside the rocket fairing and is moved to the launch pad. On December 25, 2021, Webb leaves Earth atop an Ariane 5 rocket. Approximately 30 minutes after reaching space, Webb is separated from the rocket and starts its journey to it's orbital destination a million miles away.
